1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to JulineMart. By accessing our website at https://julinemart.com or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and JulineMart Online (“JulineMart,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms:
- “Platform” means the JulineMart website and all associated services
- “Vendor” or “Seller” means independent third-party merchants who list products on JulineMart
- “Customer” or “Buyer” means individuals purchasing products through the platform
- “Order” means a purchase transaction initiated through the platform
- “Product” means goods or items listed for sale by Vendors
- “Hub” means JulineMart’s fulfillment centers where products are received and processed
3. Nature of JulineMart Services
3.1 Marketplace Platform
JulineMart operates as a multi-vendor e-commerce marketplace that:
- Provides the technology platform connecting Buyers and Sellers
- Processes payments on behalf of Vendors
- Coordinates product fulfillment through our hub-and-spoke logistics model
- Manages customer service and dispute resolution
3.2 Third-Party Products
JulineMart does not manufacture, own, or directly supply the products listed on the platform. Each product is owned and supplied by an independent Vendor. However, we maintain quality standards and coordinate the entire customer experience from purchase to delivery.
3.3 Our Role
We act as:
- A marketplace facilitator connecting Buyers and Sellers
- A payment intermediary processing transactions
- A logistics coordinator managing fulfillment
- A service provider maintaining platform standards
4. Account Registration & Use
4.1 Account Creation
To purchase products or become a Vendor, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Create secure login credentials
- Maintain the confidentiality of your account
4.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- All activities under your account
- Maintaining accurate account information
- Immediately notifying us of unauthorized access
- Complying with these Terms and all applicable laws
4.3 Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms or our policies
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse the platform or other users
- Fail to comply with payment obligations
5. Orders & Transactions
5.1 Order Placement
When you place an order:
- You are making an offer to purchase the product
- Orders are subject to acceptance and product availability
- Vendors have 1 hour to acknowledge orders
- We reserve the right to cancel suspicious or fraudulent orders
5.2 Pricing
- All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN)
- Prices include applicable taxes where required
- Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on location
- Vendors may modify prices, but confirmed orders honor the original price
5.3 Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through Paystack, our certified payment gateway
- We accept bank cards, bank transfers, and other approved payment methods
- Payment confirmation is required before order fulfillment begins
- We do not store your complete payment card information
5.4 Order Confirmation
After payment, you will receive:
- An order confirmation email with order number
- Vendor acknowledgment within 1 hour
- Regular status updates as your order progresses
- Tracking information when available
6. Fulfillment & Delivery
6.1 Hub-Based Fulfillment Model
JulineMart uses a centralized fulfillment process:
- Vendors deliver products to our nearest hub within 24-48 hours
- Our team inspects, packages, and prepares orders
- We coordinate final delivery through trusted courier partners
- Vendors do not ship directly to customers
6.2 Delivery Process
- Deliveries are handled by FEZ Delivery and other approved partners
- Delivery timelines vary by location (typically 3-7 business days)
- You will receive tracking updates via email
- Delivery requires recipient identification and signature
6.3 Delivery Fees
- Calculated based on product weight, size, and destination
- Clearly displayed before order confirmation
- Non-refundable except in cases of vendor or platform error
6.4 Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed:
- Multiple delivery attempts will be made
- You will be contacted to arrange collection or rescheduling
- Storage fees may apply after 7 days
- Unclaimed orders may be returned to vendors
7. Returns & Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy. Key points:
- 72-hour window to report issues from delivery
- Eligible items: damaged, defective, or wrong items
- Non-eligible items: perishables, personal care, clearance items
- Refunds processed within 5-10 business days after approval

8. Vendor Obligations
Vendors on JulineMart must:
8.1 Product Standards
- Provide accurate descriptions, images, and specifications
- List only authentic, legal, and compliant products
- Maintain adequate inventory
- Honor confirmed orders
8.2 Fulfillment Requirements
- Acknowledge orders within 1 hour
- Deliver products to JulineMart hub within 24-48 hours
- Respond to customer inquiries within 2 hours
- Accept valid returns according to policy
8.3 Compliance
- Follow Nigerian laws and regulations
- Adhere to JulineMart policies
- Avoid prohibited products (see Acceptable Use Policy)
- Maintain professional conduct
8.4 Commission Structure
- JulineMart charges 5% commission per sale
- Vendors receive 95% of product price
- Payouts processed weekly or bi-weekly
- All commissions clearly disclosed
9. Prohibited Activities
Users must not:
9.1 Platform Misuse
- Circumvent security measures or access restrictions
- Interfere with platform operation or other users
- Use automated systems (bots) without authorization
- Reverse engineer or copy platform features
9.2 Fraudulent Activity
- Use stolen payment methods
- Create false identities or impersonate others
- Manipulate reviews or ratings
- Engage in price manipulation
9.3 Illegal Content
- List prohibited products (weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods)
- Infringe intellectual property rights
- Violate export control or sanctions laws
- Facilitate money laundering
9.4 Abusive Behavior
- Harass other users or staff
- Post offensive or discriminatory content
- Abuse return/refund processes
- Make false claims or complaints
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Platform Content
- JulineMart owns all platform design, code, and branding
- You may not copy, modify, or reproduce platform content
- Our trademarks and logos are protected
- Vendor product content remains vendor property
10.2 User Content By posting reviews, photos, or other content:
- You grant us license to use, display, and distribute it
- You represent that you own or have rights to the content
- You will not post content that infringes third-party rights
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 Platform Availability
- We strive for continuous service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime
- Maintenance or technical issues may cause temporary interruptions
- We are not liable for losses due to service disruptions
11.2 Third-Party Actions We are not liable for:
- Product quality issues (vendor responsibility)
- Delays caused by courier partners
- Payment gateway technical problems
- Vendor misconduct or breach of obligations
11.3 Damages Cap To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific transaction
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
- These limitations do not affect your statutory rights
11.4 Force Majeure We are not liable for failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, strikes, government actions, or technical failures.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Internal Resolution

- We aim to resolve disputes within 14 days
- Provide order details and clear explanation
12.2 Payment Disputes
- Do not initiate chargebacks without contacting us first
- Chargebacks may result in account suspension
- We will work with you to resolve payment issues
12.3 Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in Nigerian courts with jurisdiction in Delta State.
13. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of JulineMart is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with:
- Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA)
- Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR)
We collect, use, and protect your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to Terms
14.1 Right to Modify
- We may update these Terms at any time
- Changes become effective upon posting
- Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms
14.2 Notification
- Material changes will be announced on the platform
- Check this page regularly for updates
- Last updated date is displayed at the top
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund & Returns Policy, and other referenced policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and JulineMart.
